On the patio, yes. I don't think they are doing indoor dining yet.
I don't think so, it first come first serve there

This is a great spot for coffee. The atmosphere is elite
The desserts here are great! Was frustrated tonight when I went in. Ordered a cappuccino and didn’t get it until after I reminded the woman at the register that I had ordered a drink 30 minutes prior. Still good desserts and food at a decent price.
Great coffeeRembrandt’s has great espresso, as well as a picturesque outdoor dining area. It’s so therapeutic to spend time here sipping a primo espresso!
Lavender White Mocha and Rancheros mmm!
Always come here when we're in town. The pastries are amazing.
I love Rembrandt's so much. It's so pretty and the coffee is divine. Get a cappuccino cup chocolate from the chocalatier. You won't regret it.
Excellent selection of gourmet baked goods and candies and their coffee is good too. It's much artisan and artsy than a "get work done" kind of coffee house on the weekends - during the week it’s quieter and better for working. Distinctly French/European style - a fun place.
Love this classic of downtown Chattanooga. It is a must visit for anyone visiting the city. They have great pastries and delicious flavors of coffee that can be enjoyed in the beautiful courtyard or brought home whole bean for home brewing.
We were bummed we found this lovely place on the last day of our visit to Chattanooga. The coffee was really good, the pastries were excellent and very fresh. The service was excellent. We loved the area where it was. Would definitely return again. Highly recommend.
Cool, relaxed place. Great service and good food. The Tomato Artichoke Soup is "the best". The sandwiches are tasty and generous. But, the highlight is their house roasted coffees and freshly made chocolates.
Rembrandt's is the total package. We are talking world class chocolates. All of their breads are from Bluff View Bakery. This coffee shop offers breakfast and lunch with a stunning art district view from their naturescaped cobblestone patio. This shop is part of the Bluff View Art District group. Coffee roasted and brewed fresh from Bluff View. Rembrandt's is a bluff side experience everyone should try.
Quaint little place. It's pretty cramped inside and can be difficult to navigate around other people. It's a beautiful atmosphere and the outdoor seating is great. The soup I had seemed like a bunch of cans tossed in a pot. It wasn't terrible, but nothing special.
We are not coffee drinkers but our daughter wanted us to meet there. The barista recommended a vanilla type blend of something and it was really nice. The outside patio is a great area to sit and visit while enjoying the surroundings.
Cute coffee shop in the arts district with breakfast sandwiches and sugary treats. Had the whiskey filled chocolates and strawberry daiquiri macaroons.
Very chic atmosphere and a fantastic location in Chattanooga. Bakery is outstanding and the coffee is incredible. Macchiato is exactly like the Italian version!
Wow wow wow! Such a great experience! Adorable, delicious pastries and probably the best espresso I’ve ever had! I will definitely be back! :)
The food and coffee at Rembrandt's are wonderful and in justifiably high demand. Really a treat! The outside seating is delightful. But the layout of the ordering area of the restaurant is a disaster. It's extremely crowded, the line stands in front of the cases, you have to reverse-navigate the ordering crowd to put cream and sugar in your coffee. Haha! We love the place, but we've turned away multiple times because of the crowded awkwardness.
Love the desserts, the coffee and the atmosphere. Excellent service and quick to get your order out even when they're slammed.
Awesome coffee shop in the art district. Friendly staff who made everything to order with patience and care. There was not a wait when we were there despite a decent crowd. We had coffee and chocolate truffles and everything was excellent and priced right. We will certainly be back on our next trip to the city.
Always a great experience at Rembrant's.
A wide variety of treats and huge selection of coffee, teas and other drinks. They have gluten safe foods, also. Beautiful building in a great part of town.
When you are at Rembrandt's it seriously feels like you are somewhere in Europe. The coffee is delicious and the sweet treats and desserts are a dream come true, but the real charm is the courtyard. Oh my gosh, it is so peaceful and pretty! I could spend hours there! The coffee shop is sandwiched between the museum area and the art garden, making the atmosphere even more delightful.I bought a mug with Rembrandt's logo on it, and it makes me feel so happy every time I use it.
Beautiful spot with nice pastries and good chocolates. The coffee / latte department needs some TLC and better beans.
Coffee and pastries never disappoint me no matter which ones I get. Outside patio is one of my favorite places in Chattanooga. Nice view and beautiful green canopy overhead for shade. Feels like a European cafe.
Cozy classic spot for a diner style breakfast and coffee! Delicious bacon/egg/cheese on a bagel or croissant, and decent coffee. Pastries are the real highlight. Can be pretty crowded on weekend mornings. Recommend grabbing breakfast here, then walking the bridge or around the nearby art galleries.
This place is a timeless treasure sunken in the tapestry of the Museum District of Chattanooga. With a magical entrance and wisteria covered, brick laden private courtyard, this must-see has the perfect coffee and desserts.
Don't miss this little coffee shop tucked in the middle of Bluff View Art District, Chattanooga TN. The staff is very friendly and the coffee is superb! Just finished the BEST Tomato Artichoke Soup I've ever had. The decor is warm and rustic. The Hunter Museum is right across the street. We'll be back!
I only got a coffee, but they had a couple of interesting pastry desserts. The inside area is small and doesn't have a good flow. But the workers are kind & quick. The outside patio is charming and much more spacious feeling than the inside.
Great coffee shop. The crowds can get pretty intense at times, but it is worth it. Their coffee is superb. I had the chocolate raspberry cake, caramel sea salt truffle, almond biscotti, house blend coffee, and whiskey barrel aged coffee. All were fantastic. I bought bags of both coffees to bring home.
Honestly, the stars you see here is for reals... ambience and food takes the cake. It surely is a must try if you're around the are. I wouldn't be surprise if they open another location. The desserts here are well presented and Taste really good. The place is clean and the service is excellent. The restuarant itself is so welcoming. The coffee/ tea selection is perfect. I will come back here again and will introduce this place to some friends.
I come here occasionally for its decent food and hot drinks. It's in easy waking distance of the Walnut Street Bridge and the park. If you find the weather to be pleasing, there's good seating available indoors and outside.
You must try the chocolates! Have some there, and take more with you! They will melt in your mouth. The coconut macaroons (so light, fluffy, and delicious) lemon bars were great too.
Loved the latte and the croissant. The milk wasn’t very hot, but the taste more than made up for it. I also enjoyed the butter croissant. A latte and a croissant on a Sunday morning in this European-style bistro? It doesn’t get much better.
We aren't coffee drinkers but our son wanted us to meet here. The barista suggested a vanilla type blend of something and it was actually really nice. The outside patio was a great area to sit and visit while enjoying the neighborhood.
Perfect environment with unbelievable coffee and wonderful pastries! My favorite place in Chattanooga, no doubt!
The coziest little cafe with the sweetest little pastries to warm your heart and lift your spirit!
Its always a nice treat to get something from Rembrandt's whether for a date night or no occasion at all. The art district, museum, and walking bridge are all very close to this quaint place. I have been coming here for years and love it every time no matter the occasion. You can't go wrong with a trip here.enjoy
I wanted to give a shout out to Matt and Zach. These guys were great. I had a flat tire in the parking lot and they went out of their way to make sure I got it fixed and on my way. By the way, my wife and I go here all the time. Great pastries and coffee. Try the scrap bun, lemon tart, raspberry danish, S cookie or the macaroon, all of it is very good. Thanks again guys we will be back soon!!
Hot day today in Chattanooga and I was really in the mood for a citrus drink like lemonade. Unfortunately, not on the menu; I opted for an iced tea with lemon which was refreshing but not what I was craving. Love the patio and the staff is doing their utmost to keep people safe during this pandemic.
I work in the art district right across the street so it would be really convenient if this place was actually good. I’ve been here multiple times. The service is reliably bad, they get your order wrong half the time and the two sandwiches I’ve ordered were inedible (though maybe those were just bad choices on my part??). Coffee is a hit or miss. The desserts are good and they have nice seating outside.
Cute little coffee and tea shop on the Bluff. We have stayed at the neighboring Bed and Breakfast and eaten breakfast here. Options are somewhat limited for vegetarians, but it’s a lovely place out on the patio in the spring. Also a welcome retreat for warm tea on fall afternoons.
Perched on the cliffs overlooking the Tennessee River, this quaint slice of “old Chattanooga” serves up a delicious slice of coffee, tea, pastries and delightful ambience. The cakes and chocolates are both beautiful and tasty, and their coffee hits the spot perfectly. Recommend unreservedly!!!
I highly recommend this place. They have an enormous selection of pastries, and the ones that we tried are all delicious. Breakfast menu is mostly sandwiches. These are as simple as can be, but good nevertheless. They serve many different types of coffee, which is acceptable (my coffee standards are very high). The place is pet friendly, and outdoor seating is very cozy, however it can be a little crowded. Parking is usually not a problem, even on Saturday mornings.
I had the raspberry white mocha. It was a little bitter which I wasn’t expecting. The desserts are to die for. Love the cute Italian look to this cafe.
This is a lovely café with a relaxed, small setting. I appreciate the finer details of the architecture and the artwork displayed on the wall. It makes it feel as though you have stepped into a little piece of Paris. I do also appreciate them offering two different plant-based milk options. It would be nice to see at least one vegan pastry option. Perhaps a scone or a classic sugar cookie.
Probably the worst coffee I have ever had. Ordered a latte and got 3/4 full take out cup. The coffee was burnt and it was so freaking hot I burnt my tongue. Maybe send your barista on a course to learn what good coffee tastes like.
Such a quaint, lovely historic place. Delicious dessert and coffee. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent service. Very nice.
A beautiful coffee shop in a very artsy neighborhood. The coffee was good, sandwich was ok, a bit too big. The ambiance is very unusual for a coffee shop and looks like a high end Italian restaurant; loved it. Overall a great place for breakfast before your stroll in this beautiful area.
This is a very nice place as you are nearing the Walnut St. Walking Bridge. It has a harty menu, and great coffee/tea drinks. I recommend it, highly! However, we were shorted a drink, which they later fixed.
My partner and I visited today. We had the iced chai latte (instantly on hand but disappointing), sweetheart hot chocolate (good but was a 30min wait), the chocolate boat (small but very good), and two hand dipped truffles (amazing). It was the day after Valentines Day and was extremely cramped. Very uncomfortable despite the otherwise excellent decor, and loud. We were served by someone in training, which seemed a poor decision for a major holiday weekend. Overall very frustrating as it was the first stop on a trip we're taking and had been excited to visit. We've decided to go back only for the chocolates and pastries, and never again for the drinks. It just wasn't worth the bad experience. They need to expand the venue to accommodate their obvious success as evidenced by the enormous crowd.
